Teachers Day is celebrated with much fervour all across schools, colleges, and educational institutions in India on 5th of September. A teacher is not someone solely confined to the four walls of a classroom. Actually, it's quite the contrary. A teacher is the sum total of wisdom, experiences, kindness, discipline and compassion. An intellectual and spiritual guide, a teacher mentors their student with the purest intention of seeing them spread their wings and take to the skies.

Sapphire had always taken a pride in celebrating its teachers on the occasion of Teachers Day. This year, a session was conducted by our Principal, Mr. Amit Singh on the topic Reptilian and Mammalian brain. He also introduced a reading club where the teachers were asked to issue a book of their choice. Followed by this was a small game session, conducted by our Vice Principal,Ms. Monica Puri. The winners of the game received a token of appreciation followed by the coaches and the management receiving the token of love. The music department showed gratitude through their melodious voices. Thus, came the end of this wonderful day.

The students of SIS geared up to write Half Yearly exam this month.
