From The Principal...

Greetings !!

“Happiness is not in the mere possession of money; it lies in the joy of achievement, in the thrill of creative effort.”
– Franklin D. Roosevelt

To be a champion, I think you have to see the big picture. It's not about winning and losing; it's about every day hard work and about thriving on a challenge. It's about embracing the pain that you'll experience at the end of a race and not being afraid. I think people think too hard and get afraid of a certain challenges that come on the way. We should be proud of our hard work. Working hard won't always lead to the exact things we desire. Still keep your dreams alive. Understand, to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe.

Sports develops a sense of friendliness among the children and develop their team spirit. It helps children develop mental and physical toughness...........Sports shape their body and make it strong and active and helps them avoid being tired and lethargy. Sports have been an integral part of curriculum at Sapphire.

An examination is not necessarily an evil, as the students generally think. Examination enables the student to judge their merits and put in their best. It also enables them to rise higher in their education. So instead of calling examination an evil, it would be better to call it a blessing in disguise.

The entire team of SIS wish that our students will work hard for the forthcoming exam and come come out with flying colours. We wish our Grades 10 and 12 to excel in their board examination.Wishing everyone a bright future ahead......

Farewell - Grade XII

Tomorrow will come as it always does, but it will be bright anew. Without your smile and guiding light, the day will feel another void in our lattice. Now, your radiance will brighten another’s day, while the memories you’ve made are all that stay. Farewell, to a very special group who will never be forgotten, until we meet again.

Morning Assembly

Theme: Success

Erin Cummings says, "At the end of the day, you are solely responsible for your success and your failure. And the sooner you realize that, you accept that, and integrate that into your work ethic, you will start being successful. As long as you blame others for the reason you aren't where you want to be, you will always be a failure."

Implementing this thought, grade 8A performed a skit on the "10 Habits of Successful Students" in the assembly, where they displayed the ten habits that should be inculcated in the students to achieve success in different phases of life.

'Success' is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty and persistence. Class VI presented a  dance skit on the song 'Dangal Dangal ' conveying the message  'A dream does not become reality through magic ,it takes sweat , determination and hard work'.  Students also displayed a musical dance drama to pay tribute to the martyrs of Pulwama attack.
